Do I need to be an AIESEC member to be a part of the Global Internship Program?
The answer is – NO! This is the first time we open our exchange opportunities to non-AIESEC members…so, what are you waiting for? If you think you are qualified to be part of this international experience, don’t hesitate to join us NOW!
Who are eligible for the program?
Any student registered at Hong Kong Baptist University ( Bachelor or Master) or having graduated at most 2 years before would be eligible to apply for the program.
What support do I get from AIESEC while abroad?
Before the internship you will receive preparation for going abroad, including trainings on how to manage and handle internship in a new culture. You will also get help with arranging visas and your travel. You will get support both from your sending local committee in Hong Kong and have a contact person in your destination country throughout the internship.
What are the costs associated with program?
You will be required to cover all costs related to your participation in the Global Internship Program. This includes the administration fee, travel insurance, any applicable vaccinations, travel to the country and your personal costs throughout the internship. However, in all internships, you will receive a salary which can cover your cost on food and accommodation.
Can I choose my internship freely?
Basically, YES! You establish your country preferences and you can apply for different internships in those specific countries. From these you will be able to specify a preference, however we cannot guarantee specific positions will be offered in a very specific country. (We need you to be open and flexible to the different countries and internship options that we present you in the program)
Can AIESEC guarantee me an internship in the program?
The number of spaces in the program is limited, so AIESEC cannot guarantee you a place in the program in case there are a greater amount of applicants than spaces.
